Every handoff is a delay and a defect.
A fit-out is rarely lost on site. It is lost in the gaps between the people delivering it — where a drawing means one thing to the designer and another to the trade, where a long-lead item is ordered three weeks after it needed to be, where a defect belongs to nobody because two scopes meet at it.
We take the gaps out by holding the whole thing. One contract, one programme, one person accountable for every junction on the job — including the ones between trades that would otherwise be somebody else's problem and therefore nobody's.
